Hey everybody! I know it’s been awhile since I posted on the blog. Somewhere between the E and O of SEO I lost my mojo, but I’m back in true Life’s A Beacham fashion with a restaurant review about a little place called Luke’s Lobster. This post needed to be written, not just for the food porn you’re about to enjoy (some of my best yet) but because of the extremely kind efforts on Luke’s Lobster’s part to make sure we had a delicious yet safe, gluten-free lobster roll. So, no more excuses, you know the drill- if you’re dying to see my first ever gluten-free lobster roll, keep scrolling to checkout my Luke’s Lobster Chicago review!
With two years in the books, Brett and I wanted to celebrate our anniversary with some good eats! Fun fact about me- I keep a running log of places I find in Chicago with gluten-free options so that I can review them as soon as I have the opportunity. So when it came time to pick a place to eat for our Friday night celebration, I handed Brett the list and told him to surprise me. On Friday night at 8:00pm sharp our uber rolled up to Hub 51, and we eagerly headed inside.
Last Saturday night my friend Jackie and I had a night out on the town. Not knowing where to go for dinner, but eager to find a new place that did gluten-free right, we settled upon Sunda: A New-Asian restaurant that has an extensive cross-cultural menu, and an even more impressive gluten-free menu. So we strapped on our heels and headed to River North; what awaited us was worth the adventure!
If you’ve been following my posts you’ll know that after a week in Destin, FL Brett and I decided to extend our layover in Nashville, TN. So last minute- we booked an Air BnB and committed to two extra nights in hopes of soaking up a little honkey tonk. Little did we know Southwest Air had other plans for us…
