At this point we all know someone who has an allergy or a dietary need. When it comes to having a party, it can be hard to know where to start to make sure your friend is accommodated.
Here are five ways to host your guest with allergies in a safe and welcoming way:
It’s officially that time of year where soup is considered a proper dinner. Something about the warmth of the soup, paired with some nice hearty #glutenfree bread and a glass of vino just warms the soul, you know? So the other day I pulled out my newest toy, my Vitamix, and I whipped up some homemade butternut squash soup with, you guessed it… bacconnnnn!
This recipe is truly as easy and tasty as it sounds, and if you get pre-cut butternut squash you’ve cut your prep time down to five minutes, tops. I’ve included the recipe below, try it out and let me know what you think!
Hey All! This healthy sweet potato breakfast quiche couldn’t have come to me at a better time. With a full weekend of apartment hunting, Brett and I needed a quick and filling meal to get us through the day and this recipe came through big time! But this post is more than just easy gluten-free super bowl snacks, it’s a collection of some healthier, protein focused recipes that you can whip up without missing a play (or in my case, a commercial). Oh- and they’re all dairy free. HOW CAN THIS BE? You’ll see. I’ve also included a naughty surprise at the end as well as some drink ideas. Intrigued? Excited? … Salivating? Huddle up and let the recipes commence! Continue Reading
