Anyone else super into making up frittata recipes lately? Just me? Ok no worries. This recipe is easy, which we all need after surviving 2020. Believe me when I say you can add anything to it and it’ll be delicious. The trick to frittatas is that they’re secretly omelettes, just without the flip. Here me out:
Let’s face it, we’ve got a lotttt of time on our hands. So let’s bake some cookies from scratch shall we? For anyone reading along who’s thinking “Ooooh I’m no cake boss” this was my first time making any cookie from scratch too. I grew up with break and bake and never thought anything of it until, well, #quarantine. So, if I can do this, you can do this, I promise.
Don’t get me wrong, I am a firm believer in the concepts of “treat yo self” “rosé all day” and YOLO, but I also believe in the 80/20 rule, so during the week I like to shift my focus to healthy alternatives that taste just as good as the treat I’m craving. I figured I can’t be alone in this feeling, so without further adieu, here are my top five tasty alternatives that curb my cravings, while keeping me on track:
Valentine’s Day is coming up! For those of you looking to spice up your day- I’ve concocted a quick, healthy Valentines’s day breakfast that is gluten-free & paleo! This upcoming weekend is Super Bowl Sunday! Hooray Sports! I get a lot of questions around this time of the year, like “what can you eat?” or “is butter a carb?” (#meangirlsquote) But really, I do get asked quite a bit if I can enjoy the Super Bowl along with the rest of my friends. My answer to that is always -hell yes! The past couple of years we’ve been going to Brett’s friends house for the game, and they always put out an immense, almost entirely gluten-free spread. The first time they pulled this off, they knew almost nothing about my allergy- and to this I say- if they can pull it off on their first try, so can you! But this post is more than just easy gluten-free super bowl snacks, it’s a collection of some healthier, protein focused recipes that you can whip up without missing a play (or in my case, a commercial). Oh- and they’re all dairy free. HOW CAN THIS BE? You’ll see. I’ve also included a naughty surprise at the end as well as some drink ideas. Intrigued? Excited? … Salivating? Huddle up and let the recipes commence!
